Starting this update was difficult because I couldn’t find the appropriate first word. I didn’t want a hello, hi or greeting. Equally my occasional konnichiwa and heylo seemed ehh not to my mood or current style. SO in my difficulty I realized why I had put off updating so long and that this whole update was going to be a forced affair. Well it has been awhile since I wrote anything intelligent and since it is Tuesday and I am already distracted at 10AM. So distracted that by this next sentence it is Friday. Wow! I’m exhausted.

There has been nothing outstandingly astonishing going on in my life recently and that is situation that needs to be rectified immediately. In recent weeks in which I found myself gifted with copious amounts of free time I rediscovered just how much I could accomplish when not exhausted by working an inordinate amount of hours. The fact Christmas presents and badly needed clothes bought, trash/ Goodwill taken out, books read, food home cooked and quality time spent with family, friends and of course the dog could all be fit with ample room for nothingness was a spectacular discovery.

Coordinating three jobs, sometimes four, with having a life is sometimes a bit of a struggle, especially if I start falling behind on planning. You can’t put off today what you can do tomorrow because of the ripple effect. That one day will leave me floundering for a week because of one hour’s leisure or usually napping in my case. With that being said 2008 is being planned at this moment. Vacations, money/ investments, and taxes while exploring the possibilities of what job/jobs/college I’ll be in at the time. I would love a job that pays about the average I make now with health benefits. I would make less, but that is a sacrifice for time.

My ultimate goal for 2008 “Work Less, Live More.” Kinda early for a resolution, but that’s where it stands. I’m missing friends, family, pets, art, reading, camping, flying my kite, trips, hikes, writing, swimming, skiing, musicals, playing my own music, volunteering, dance lessons, martial arts, archery, apple picking, parades, the beach, amusement parks, and love. Ehhh I’m tired now……………….
